This installation demonstrates how Garrolux overcame limited internal headroom by fitting a 55mm automated roller shutter garage door with the motor box mounted externally above the opening. Where there isn't enough space inside the garage for a conventional installation, positioning the roller mechanism outside provides the ideal solution without compromising security or performance.
The finished result delivers all the benefits of a modern insulated roller shutter, including smooth electric operation, improved security and a clean, contemporary appearance, while making use of space that would otherwise prevent an automated garage door from being installed. This visualisation shows how the completed installation looks with the external motor box neatly integrated into the property's appearance.
